Limestone County Flea Market closes permanently

The Limestone County Flea Market is officially closed for good. The Market stated through their Facebook page last week that it will close to make way for a new storage facility.

The Flea Market has been a regular fixture on the outskirts of Madison on Hwy 72 for decades. They have boast having as many as 80 vendors inside the 80,000 sq. foot shopping complex.

There was some confusion after the announcement of their closing. It was thought that the Limestone County Flea Marker would open this weekend for vendors to have one last sale, but the Market later said they were only open for vendors and not the general public.
