Rocket City Bash to be held March 18 at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center
HUNTSVILLE – The 2020 AUSA Global Force Symposium & Exposition, a three-day event at the VBC in Huntsville, is right around the corner. That also means its time for the Rocket City Bash.
The Symposium will be held March 17-19 and include presentations from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology), the United States Army Materiel Command, and the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command.
Organizers say this symposium will explore the capabilities outlined in the Army Operating Concept and how the force transforms from being adaptive to driving innovation for Force 2025 and beyond.
Special guest presentations, coupled with panel discussions from senior military and industry leaders, will address critical points of acquisition, research and development, and partnering between military and industry.
There are a few key AUSA Redstone-Huntsville Chapter events in conjunction with the Symposium.
On Tuesday, March 17, a Young Professionals Networking Event will be held at Below the Radar starting at 5:30 p.m.
The signature event of the Global Force Symposium is the annual Rocket City Bash, held under the Saturn V Rocket at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center on Wednesday, March 18, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The Rocket City Bash is an extension of the Symposium, promoting continued discussions, networking, and renewal of friendships. Your participation is vital to both the success of Symposium and the Bash. Last year’s Bash was attended by over 800 Government and industry personnel.
The AUSA ROTC Luncheon on Thursday 19 March is the only luncheon during the Global Force Symposium and is the culmination of ROTC Day at the Symposium.
Last year they had nearly 300 JROTC/ROTC cadets from across North Alabama in attendance and organizers expect a similar number this year. Tickets for the luncheon are available for $30 per person; Cadet attendance is complimentary.
Additional information and registration for the three events is available on the chapter website:
