Alabama Secretary of State visits Madison school

A Discovery Middle School civics class got an inside lesson on state government. John Merrill, Alabama Secretary of State, spoke with 7th graders in Matt Brewers class Tuesday about his role, government in general, pursuing a career, and what it takes to be a public servant. Discovery includes students in grades 6 through 8 in Madison.
