Madison City Schools delayed two hours tomorrow
Madison City Schools Superintendent Dr. Robby Parker released the following statement at approximately 4 p.m. today:
“Madison City Schools will delay the school start by two hours tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 6). Bus routes will be adjusted accordingly, so riders should be at the bus stop simply two hours beyond the normally scheduled time.
After-school activities today will go on as scheduled. The weather briefing this afternoon cited the potential for damaging wind, hail and possible tornadoes overnight into the early morning, with the mainline storms extending into the commute time. That model could change either way. The uncertainty is too great for me to put our students and employees at risk.
Please remain weather aware tonight.”
