Litwin to perform at Junior League fundraiser
HUNTSVILLE – Junior League of Huntsville will present “Storytime with Eric Litwin” on April 7 for at Randolph Elementary School, 1005 Drave Ave. SE in Huntsville.
Litwin, a No. 1 “New York Times” Best-Selling author, is a song -singing, guitar-strumming author who brings early literacy and music together. He is the original author of the first four books in the “Pete the Cat” series.
Litwin will perform shows in Randolph Fine Arts Center at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. He will conduct a book signing from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Food trucks and children’s activities will be open at Randolph from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition to the “Pete the Cat” series, Litwin is author of “The Nuts” and “Groovy Joe.”
“All of the proceeds from ticket sales and donations from this literacy-based fundraiser will be used by Junior League of Huntsville to award future Community Assistance Grants,” league president Nancy Washington Vaughn of Madison said.
