Bickleman pitched no-hitter against Jets
MADISON – Brendan Bickleman plays baseball on the varsity team at Bob Jones High School, along with the summer team for the East Coast Sox. He handles the positions of pitcher and outfield.
“I have played baseball since I was three years old. It has always been my best sport so I stuck with it,” Brendan said.
He is a senior at Bob Jones and participates in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Brendan’s siblings are Kellen Mashburn, an eighth-grader at Discovery Middle School, and Chase Faircloth, a sophomore at Georgia Highlands College. “My parents are Chad and Stephanie Mashburn. My mom works for Par Pharmaceutical but will be starting at AIC as Product Development Manager in January. My stepdad Chad is a stay-at-home dad. My father Rodney Bickleman works in management for Kroger,” Brendan said.
Brendan’s family moved to Madison in August 2011. “My mom’s work brought us to Madison,” he said.

A: Teriyaki chicken.

A: Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Braves.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: “Pitching a no-hitter against James Clemens last year, and pitching at the East Coast Pro event in front of major league scouts,” Brendan said.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: Brendan enjoys playing Xbox, hanging out with friends and working out.
