MCS opens kindergarten registration

MADISON – For the 2017-2018 school year, Madison City Schools will open online registration for kindergarten students from April 25 through May 5.

A child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2017 to enroll in kindergarten in accordance with state requirements. “We’d like to remind everyone that registration for both new and returning students is online only, replacing the old system of registering in our Central Office,” MCS Public Relations Manager John Peck said.

“The new system is more convenient for parents and guardians with no wait in line. The system also includes a way to upload and link documents,” Peck said.

For more information, visit madisoncity.k12.al.us and click the registration link in the “District News” section.

Registration for grades 1-12 is set for June 1 through July 10.
