MADISON – Fanfares of trumpets. Relentless rhythm of percussion. Accelerating trills from clarinets and flutes. All these exciting elements of marching season will blend in the “Sounds of the Stadium” concert by James Clemens High School Jets Band.
Band aficionados, along with people who just enjoy fun music, will appreciate this evening of entertainment that will highlight the music from the 2016 football season. Sounds of the Stadium will be presented on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. in James Clemens Auditorium.
“The Sounds of the Stadium Concert is a highly energetic indoor extravaganza performed by the band, color guard, dance team and drum line. These units are all under the direction of Keith Anderson and Stuart Tankesley,” publicist Amy Gormley said.
Following the concert, guests can enjoy a dessert reception.
In addition, a silent auction will feature merchandise and gift cards from local businesses and restaurants. Most gift baskets will be filled with items that connect to the following themes:
* Dog and cat lovers.
* Gardener supplies.
* Chocolate lovers.
* Kids’ activities, puzzle lovers, tutoring services and Family Game Night.
* Kitchen lovers, featuring plenty of gadgets.
