MADISON COUNTY – Infinity Chiropractic has organized a fun Saturday outing to honor individuals who have an occupation with life-or-death consequences.
The “Back the Blue” celebration at Infinity Chiropractic, 7504 U.S. 72 W., Suite A6, will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 24. “We are throwing a community appreciation event for our area’s first responders,” Dr. Travis McDermott said. “We have a huge heart for outreach and a passion for serving people.”
“We have a ton of things going on at Strong Station for our event. We will have a fire truck, police car, ambulance, games, food, raffles, prizes, cake walk, burpee challenge, face painting and much more,” McDermott said. Back the Blue is designed as a free-admission event filled with fun for the whole family.
“Come out and help us celebrate our community’s first responders and their families,” he said. Cotton candy, Popsicles, kettle corn, feats of strength by The Strength Team (topschoolassembly.com) and watermelon slices will add to the enjoyable atmosphere.
The event’s guest speaker will be Officer Jonathan Caldwell with the Dallas Police Department.
“We are hosting the event with help from our neighbor’s at Piper and Leaf. They will be hosting their grand opening during our event. It’s sure to be an exciting day of fun,” McDermott said.
The money raised with vendor booths, raffles, food, cake walk and burpee challenge will be donated to Madison County E-911, police officers and fire and rescue workers. “All proceeds from the event will be donated, and the cost for the event will be taken care of by our business,” McDermott said.
