MADISON – James Clemens Theatre is hosting a ‘cool’ fundraiser to help with production expenses for their spring musical, “Beauty and the Beast.”

The “Character Ice Skate” party at Benton H. Wilcoxon Municipal Ice Complex at 3185 Leeman Ferry Road in Huntsville will be held on Feb. 27 from 2 to 3:50 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite fantasy character. Admission is $11, which includes skates, rink time, photographs with princesses and other costumed characters and a group lesson. Guests will pay $8 if they bring their own skates. Socks are required.

When paying, guests should state that they are skating with James Clemens Theatre.

“Beauty and the Beast” performances will be presented on April 7-9 at 7 p.m. and a matinee on April 9 at 2 p.m. in the James Clemens Auditorium. Tickets are available at showtix4u.com and will be sold at the event.
