Cozby named CAFY’S Young Citizen

Cozby was the first high school student to participate in the volunteer team for United Way Community Impact to grant more than $500,000 for local education and youth development. Cozby said his motivation originates with “social justice. I’ve seen that, when people come together for a cause, we really can improve our community.”
“Also, Jordan’s mother has had a great influence on him,” CAFY member Erica Hobbs said.
Among many honors, C-Span’s U.S. Senate Youth Program recognized Cozby. He ranks as a semifinalist with National Merit Scholarship Program.
