Are you ready for some football?

From the Publisher

Football mania has begun in Madison.

The players, bands, and cheerleaders are ready to take the field. Students, teachers, coaches and families are filled with anticipation of this new season. Each player is dreaming of a state championship title.

It is one of my favorite times of the year.

In the September edition of Madison Living, we showcase our high school football teams. This special magazine is available today.

Bob Jones High School, James Clemens High School and Madison Academy teams and playmakers are featured.

Bob Jones safety AJ Harris is determined to defend the backfield against all opponents this year.

James Clemens defensive lineman LaBryan Ray is on a mission to shut down the line against all who dare to come his direction.

Madison Academy running back Malik Miller is ready to run over defenders and capture his team’s fourth straight state title.

This is going to be another exciting season to watch.

Please count on The Madison Record for game coverage. We look forward to capturing many great moments for the students and our local football fans.

We also invite our readers to contribute photos of the games. Please submit these photos to news@themadisonrecord.com.

Good luck to all schools this football season!
