Party of the Year!

From The Publisher

It’s time to purchase your Parrots of the Caribbean tickets.

Yes, the celebration of the year is upon us.

The Rotary Club of Madison will be presenting our annual fundraising event, Parrots of the Caribbean, on Saturday, Aug. 22. We will be hosting this party from 6-11 p.m. at a new location.

It will be held at the Insanity Complex, 100 Skate Park Drive, this year.

A few notable differences in this change of venue are it will offer lots of parking, indoor plumbing and more amenities.

This is a chance to party with your community and serve your community at the same time. The funds generated from this event support all of the charitable donations of the Rotary Club of Madison for the entire year.

A few of these charitable contributions include local Thanksgiving baskets for individuals in need; school supplies for students in need; and our International service projects.

The event will include live music, a live auction, dozens of raffle baskets and yummy food and drink.

This party is for adults only – 21 years of age and up. So leave the kids at home and come help serve our local and international neighbors to make this a very special year.

Ticket prices are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. To purchase tickets please visit www.parrots2015.eventbrite.com.

There is no better feeling than serving others.

I believe most of Madison agrees.
