Get ready for family fun on June 13

From the Publisher

Taste the Spirit of Madison is set to be great family fun in Madison.

The Madison Chamber of Commerce is launching a brand new event this Saturday, June 13.

The festival is being held at the Insanity Complex at 100 Skate Park Drive in Madison from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This occasion includes food tasting, BBQ cook-off, pie & preserves contest, live music, food trucks and bazaar booths.

Taste the Spirit of Madison will have something for everyone.

It’s free admission from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Bites & Brews admission (6-9 p.m.) is $15 for an individual ticket, $25 per couple, $10 for ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under.

This is another wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything great about our community.

The Madison Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Elaine Ballew, MCC Events and Marketing Coordinator Sherry Brukner, MCC Sales Manager Lisa Jackson and MCC Account Manager Pam Sparks have worked countless hours preparing for this exciting new Madison affair. The MCC staff, sponsors, vendors and volunteers are planning to create a family-friendly atmosphere where Chamber members and community members can connect.

Another great part about this event is a portion of the proceeds will go to the art department at James Clemens High School and the culinary department at Bob Jones High School.

Taste the Spirit of Madison is one more way the Madison Chamber of Commerce and its members are able to give back to Madison.

Please consider joining the summertime fun this Saturday and supporting this inaugural celebration.
