Party in the (skate) park, with Parrots

From the Publisher

Are you ready for a great party to help our community?

The Rotary Club of Madison’s annual fundraiser, Parrots of the Caribbean, has kicked off its sponsorship drive.

The Parrots of the Caribbean event is an annual celebration that includes live music, one-of-a-kind raffle baskets, great food and better spirits.

The proceeds from this annual benefit support the Rotary Club of Madison’s local community service projects and international service projects for the entire year.

A few of the major local service projects include Thanksgiving baskets for community families; backpacks and schools supplies for children; and scholarships for youth.

It’s a special occasion when you can party with your neighbors and give back at the same time.

This year’s event will be held at the Insanity Complex, 100 Skate Park Drive in Madison, Saturday, Aug. 22.

This change of venue will offer participants some new advantages, such as plenty of parking and indoor restrooms.

You can always count on awesome live entertainment and a wonderful adult atmosphere.

This celebration is open to ages 21 and above.

The Rotary Club of Madison members are knocking on businesses’ doors for sponsorship opportunities now.

These sponsorship packages will help brand your company’s name and, more importantly, impact the lives of people in need.

There are varying levels of sponsorships, so there is something for everyone. Please carefully consider an opportunity to sponsor this terrific cause.

Tickets will be available soon to purchase, so be on the lookout for your friendly Rotary Club of Madison member for those details.

For more information about Parrots of the Caribbean 2015 sponsorship opportunities, email Debbie Overcash, sponsor chair, at oversanoma@aol.com or visit madisonalrotary.org.
