Armed forces association donates to Discovery

MADISON – The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International has endorsed Mad City Cyber Security Club Teams with a donation.

Association president Mike Schexnayder and treasurer Ted Henrich presented the donation at the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Academy at Discovery Middle School on April 14.

Discovery Principal Melanie Barkley accepted the check for the middle school cyber groups. Also attending the presentation were Madison Mayor Trulock, team mentor Todd Grayson and STEM II teacher and cyber security sponsor Julia West.

The non-profit Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International provides a forum for the ethical exchange of information. The association is dedicated to increasing knowledge through exploration of information technology, communications and electronics for the defense, homeland security and intelligence communities.
