Discovery students’ artwork chosen for exhibits

MADISON – Art students at Discovery Middle School have received recognition for their creative designs.

Ange Long’s artwork was selected for viewing in the Huntsville Museum of Art for the 27th Annual Youth Art Month Exhibit.

Tasmin Altuhuh and Mishka Blackmon were blue ribbon winners in the 2014 Visual Arts Achievement competition. Their designs also were exhibited in Huntsville Museum of Art.

Altuhuh and Blackmon’s award-winning work was shown along with other regional winners in the Artist’s Gallery of the Alabama State Council on the Arts in Montgomery.
