First Baptist hosts upward flag football

MADISON – First Baptist Church of Madison is hosting the community’s first upward flag football League for children of elementary-school age.

On June 14, coaches will evaluate players, finalize roster and registration will end. Practices will begin June 24-27:

The season will include six games from June 28 through Aug. 9: No practices or games will be held the week of July 4.

Students who will enter kindergarten through sixth grade are eligible. Cost is $65, which includes practices and the six-game season, reversible jersey, flag belt, playing card wrist band, car magnet and trophy.

Volunteer coaches also are needed.
