Police department to auction miscellaneous items

MADISON – Madison Police Department will hold a public auction of miscellaneous property items on May 17.

Registration and preview of items will start at noon at Madison City Hall, 100 Hughes Road in the south parking lot. Bidders must present a valid state-issued photo identification to register and bid. Bidding will begin at 1 p.m.

Some of the item categories are MP3 players, hand tools, DVD movies, desktop computer parts, household goods, bicycles, bicycle frames and scrap parts and scrap metal. Some items may be sold in lots.

Items will be sold ‘as-is’ by cash transactions, no less than $1. All sales are final.

The auction complies with Madison City Code Section 16-110. For more information, call 256-772-6252.
