Gliders will fly at the NARCA airfield or Epps Field, which is located near the intersection of Carroll and Harvest Roads in Harvest.

“In the past, we have had pilots from far away as Texas and Florida with large contingents from local radio control glider modelers,” publicist Cliff Lanham said. “Spectators and event pilots are welcome. No fee is charged for spectators.”

Concessions will be sold. “If you have a recreational vehicle, dry camping is available,” Lanham said.

Individuals who want to fly gliders can call Ernie Duffey at 256-714-3176 or Lanham at 256-325-3775 or email to clanham@knology.net. For a map to the field, visit flynarca.com.
