Melissa Ann Hayes was born June 26, 2013 at Madison Hospital to Monica Hayes of Decatur and Michael Hayes of Arab.
She weighed seven pounds 11 ounces and measured 20 inches.
Grandparents are Ed and Ann Hayes of Arab; Geoff and Marilyn Davies of Decatur; and Tommy Thrash of Daphne.
Great-grandmother is Margie Thrash of Albertville.
Melissa has one sibling, Mitchell Edward Hayes, three and a half.
