First Baptist sponsors football camps

MADISON – First Baptist Church of Madison is sponsoring a flag football camp, associated with upward sports.

Students who will enter grades K-6 can participate in the three-day camps on July 27, Aug. 3 and Aug. 10 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Camps will be held at Dublin Park, 8324 Madison Pike in field six. Campers should supply their own mouth guards.

The camp will conclude with “Camp Celebration” for the entire family at First Baptist, 4257 Sullivan St. on Aug. 11 at 5:30 p.m.

Camp fee is $35. All campers receive three days of camp instruction, a T-shirt and souvenir water bottle.

Deadline for registration is July 19. Checks should be made payable to “First Baptist Church Madison.” Parents can bring the form and registration to the church office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Scholarships are available.
