Bob Jones wins award in debate tourney

The Debate Team from Bob Jones High School participated in the High School Debate Tournament at Samford University on Jan. 11-12. Team members are, from left, senior Kyle Campbell, junior Mugdha Mokashi and freshmen Jordan Cozby and Andrew Smith.

“Our teams did really well and even brought home a couple of awards to prove it,” coach Kristen Bergeson said. Mokashi ranked in tenth place for individual speakers. Cozby and Smith won quarter finalist awards.
