Discovery students submit winning Red Ribbon posters
During Red Ribbon Week, Discovery Middle School held a poster contest with the theme, “I’m Voting for My Future. I’m Drug-Free.” First-place winner Diamond Smith drew a determined bee flying back to its hive amidst catch phrases like, “Bee You,” “Bee Safe” and “Love Life.”
Anna Grace Pell earned second place for her patriotic theme. She drew a girl dressed in red, white and blue holding a banner with the theme. Swirls of colorful fireworks explode in the background.
Maria Delgado took third place with her colorful work. Maria drew a heart with the message, “Drug Free,” surrounded by decorative embellishments.
