Mary A. Kirkland; Oct. 1, 2012

Mary Ann Kirkland, age 77, of Madison, passed away on Monday Oct. 1, 2012. at Madison Hospital.

Mrs. Kirkland was preceded in death by her son, Brian Kirkland; her parents, Walter and Lorene Fiske; and one brother, Benny Fiske.

She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Madison.

Mrs. Kirkland is survived by her husband, James R. Kirkland of Madison; her son, Marc Kirkland and wife Elise of Madison; her daughter, Laura Wright and husband Jamey of Eva; her brother, Tom Fiske of Gainesville, GA; her grandchildren, James, Brian, and Michael Kirkland, and Corey and Alan Wright; her great grandson, Chase Kirkland; and her nieces and nephew, Lisa Schrimsher, Kelly Wright, Anna Katherine Fisk, and John Fiske.

Funeral services will be on Thursday Oct. 4, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with Jim Stringfellow officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on that day from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
