Absentee voting deadline is Aug. 23

Aug. 23 is the deadline to apply for absentee voting in the Madison municipal election on Aug. 28. Residents who will be out of town on Aug. 28 can vote by an absentee ballot if they satisfy certain requirements.

The city clerk’s office in Madison Municipal Complex, 100 Hughes Road must receive absentee applications by 5 p.m. on Aug. 23. For information, call the city clerk’s office at 256-772-5650.
