Overnight shooting injures one person

One person injured in overnight shooting in Madison.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Sterling Ridge Apartment complex on Water Hill rd off of Shelton road.

According to Madison Police a person was shot early Tuesday morning, and they believe it is accidental.

Officers said the person who was shot only had minor injuries, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
