Appleton Learning expands to Huntsville

Appleton Learning opened in Madison in 2004. The Huntsville location opening signifies the company’s growth over the years.

Appleton Learning has opened a new branch in Huntsville.

The private education organization had its grand opening Monday, Jan. 16 in Jones Valley. Appleton Learning provides individualized academic coaching, test preparation, academic testing and assessments for students of all ages.

The Huntsville location opening signifies the company’s growth over the years.

Director of Marketing Sonia Robinson said the company decided to open in Huntsville in order to reach a greater number of students.

“For Madison, we were so close in proximity in schools there, we wanted to get closer to the ones we’re serving in the Huntsville area,” Robinson said.
Robinson said the Madison location was serving students from all over Madison County as well as some counties budding up into Madison County.

“Over the course of the year, we serve more than 700 students,” she said. “One of our most demanded services is ACT test prep. With only one location in Madison, we were filling to capacity and had students put on a waiting list.”

The Huntsville location will be used as the model for all new Appleton Learning locations going forward.

In addition to the growth in Huntsville, the company plans to open 30 branches across the Southeast by 2015.  In addition to these branches, which serve private pay clients, Appleton continues to partner with schools throughout the region to help them rethink learning.

Appleton has a location in Houston, Texas and in Franklin, Tenn.

“Our community has been so supportive with us and we’re thankful to grow and expand,” Robinson said.”

The Huntsville location is only accepting 100 students. Visit the website at Appletonlearning.com. for more information.
