Bob Jones sells bricks to honor seniors

The cost is $100 for a 4x8-sized brick.

The biomedical and health sciences classes at Bob Jones High School have paired with Madison Hospital to provide an opportunity to honor the 2011 graduating class.

Parents, family and friends are encouraged to cast a lasting point of distinction for their graduating seniors by purchasing engraved bricks to be displayed in the healing garden at the Madison Hospital, scheduled to open in February 2012.

“This is just another way we’re seeking to give concrete opportunities for our students to be mindful citizens and to give back to our community,” said Bob Jones assistant principal Julie Finley. “I believe our students do realize the amazing opportunities they have by living in Madison.”

A portion of the proceeds will support material and supplies needed in the Medical Academy classrooms.

The cost is $100 for a 4×8-sized brick.

To order bricks, contact Medical Academy Chair Carolyn Scroggins at Bob Jones High School at 256.772-2547 or the Huntsville Hospital Foundation at 256.265.1000.

“This is a great opportunity for our community to show support for the new hospital in Madison and commemorate their graduate,” Scroggins said.
