The Bob Jones rushing attack accounted for four touchdowns Friday night, as the Patriots opened a 31-0 halftime lead over the Hazel Green Trojans and never looked back en route to a dominating 45-0 road region win.

In the opening quarter, the Patriots got on the board early with a 37-yard Braden Hager field goal.

Bob Jones wasted no time adding to the lead, as Xavier Gaddy scampered in from 10 yards out to put the Patriots up 10-0.

Trai Ragland got into the scoring action in the second quarter on a 4-yard touchdown run before Gaddy added his second score of the half on a 69-yard sprint to put the Patriots up 24-0.

Bob Jones went to the air before the half when Jeffrey Moss connected with Yianni Sarris for the 33-yard strike to increase the lead to 31-0.

In the second half, Kevin Wright gave the Patriots╒ rushing attack its fourth score of the game on a 3-yard run before Moss closed out the scoring in the final quarter on a touchdown pass to junior Nick Richardson.

The Patriots (1-1, 1-0) will play their first home game of the regular season Sept. 10 as they play host to the Florence Falcons.
