James Edgar Durham Jr.; July 24, 2010

James Edgar Durham Jr., 61, of Ardmore, Tenn., passed away Saturday, July 24.

Mr. Durham was preceded in death by his parents, James Edgar Durham Sr. and Kitty Bell Brooks Durham. He was a United States Marine Corps Combat Vietnam Veteran and retired from civil service at Redstone Arsenal.

Survivors include son, James E. Durham III; sister, Jean Durham Fabbri; brothers, Willie M. Durham, Anthony Houston Durham, Frank S. Durham and Carl E. Durham; and granddaughters, Katie Durham and Abby Durham.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Madison City Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Barlow officiating.
