Churchill Story

June 3, 2010

Churchill Story, 94, died June 3 at Huntsville Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific. He was retired from the Marine Corps Supply Center in Albany, Ga. and was also a licensed electrician. He was a member of Wall Highway Baptist Church in Maidson.
Mr. Story was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Tom and Earnest Story; and siblings, Ileen Bass, Lizzie Mae Davis, Lee Story and George Story.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Carolyn Story; his son, Carl Story and wife Judy; his grandson, Ken Story of Madison and wife Belinda and their children, Aaron, Campbell and Emmalee; and grandson, Scot Story and wife Nicki of Winthrop, Maine, and their children, Elijah, Abigail and Benjamin.
Visitation was held at Madison Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services followed with the Rev. Charles Davis and the Rev. Joey Savell officiating. Interment was at Valhalla Memorial Gardens on Winchester Road.
