John D. Kondik, 81, of Madison died May 8, 2010. He was a member of St. John’s The Baptist Catholic Church of Madison. He lived in Cullman for 35 years and later moved to Madison.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Blanche.

He is survived by three sons, Dan Kondik of Arkansas, Rick Kondik and wife Dianne of Madison, and Johnny Kondik and wife Peggy of Huntsville; granddaughter, Jennifer Hendricks and husband Aaron of Madison; great-grandchildren, John David and Anna Grace Hendricks.

Visitation was at St. John’s The Baptist Catholic Church, with Mass service following, Father Phil O’Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Madison City Cemetery, Laughlin Service Funeral Home directing.
