Police Arrest Report The Madison Police Department reported the following arrests between July 7 and July 13. * Driving Under the Influence – 5 * Failure to Appear – 7 * Failure to Pay – 6 * Jumping Bail – 4 * Possession of a Controlled Substance – 1 * Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – 3 * Possession of Marijuana – 5 (two were felony arrests) * Possession of Obscene Material – 1 * Runaway, Theft of Property and Violation of Probation – 1 * Theft of Property – 4 (one was a felony arrest) * Violation of Protection Order – 1 * Violation of Probation – 3 * Public Intoxication – 1
Fire Incident Report The Madison Fire Department was not able to report incidents from last week. The fire department is in the process of installing new departmental software.
Building Permits The Madison Community Development Department issued 20 commercial and residential building permits between July 7 and July 13 for a total of $5,011.27. There were 32 electrical permits issued for a total of $1,316.95. There were 15 gas permits issued for a total of $152.50. There were 21 mechanical permits issued for a total of $570. There were 20 plumbing permits issued for a total of $1,247. There was one permit issued for demolition for $25, two sign permits for $25 each were issued, there was one permit issued for a swimming pool at $25 and there was one miscellaneous permit issued for $1.20.
The grand total for all permits issued between July 7and July 13 was 113, for a total of $8,398.92.
