By Staff
Fay Wishik of Madison has been named the new Director of Tourism for the Huntsville/Madison County Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
Wishik was promoted from her former position as Tourist Information Manager with the bureau. She worked for Walt Disney World for more than 10 years and has an extensive background in training and human resource management.
"Tourism is the second largest industry in Alabama with more than $500 million spent by visitors in Huntsville and Madison County in 2002," Wishik said.
Wishik replaces Lee Sentell who was chosen by Gov. Bob Riley to head the Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel.
