Everyone loves a parade and the holiday season isn't complete without a Christmas parade in town.
The streets of historic downtown Madison will come alive with the sounds of holiday cheer as the 6th annual Madison Holiday Parade is set to get under way on Saturday, Dec. 14.
The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will travel south on Hughes Road at Madison City Hall, west on Mill Road, south on Church Street, west on Main Street, north on Wall-Triana/Sullivan Street, east on Mill Road, and end at the Madison Fire Station No.1
Line-up will begin promptly at 4 p.m. No one will be allowed to enter for line up before this time. Vehicles that will be participating will enter the City Hall parking lot from Mill Road. No other vehicles will be able to use this entrance.
Anyone that will be dropping off children or participants in the parade will need to use either entrance into City Hall from Hughes Road and exit City Hall the same way.
The north entrance will be blocked off at 5:15 p.m.
Registration forms must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29. Put them to the attention of Gayle Reid.
For more information about the parade, call Gayle Reid at 772-9300.
