The Asbury Ringers Handbell Choir and the Madison Community Chorus will contribute to the numerous holiday events scheduled this season in Madison with two special performances.
The handbell choir will present its 4th Annual Christmas Handbell Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, in the Asbury United Methodist Church Sanctuary on Hughes Road. The concert will consist of both popular and Advent music of the Christmas season.
No admission will be charged.

Celebrate the season's glory with Madison Community Chorus' production of Handel's masterwork, The Messiah.
In addition to the complete Christmas portion of this work and the Hallelujah Chorus, the program will also include smaller works, such as Ralph Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols, In the Bleak Midwinter, and O Holy Night.
The Messiah will be performed with the Valley Community Orchestra.
Michael Gimenez, artistic director of Madison Community Chorus, will conduct. Soloists include Michael Beutjer, Anna Caravella, Rob Cayse, Tom Dooling, Chris Franks, Toni Franks, Gianna Gimenez, Alexa Newlin, Justin Register, Connie Rose, Ginger Simard, Carolyn Smith, Shawn Thomas and Ellen Williams.
Performance dates are 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Locust Grove Baptist Church and Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Madison Municipal Complex on Hughes Road.
Tickets are $12 for adults, with a $2 discount for students, seniors and corporate sponsors. For ticket information, call 316-0521 or 316-522, or e-mail madisonchorus@knology.net.
