UAH awards scholarships
The University of Alabama in Huntsville has awarded academic scholarships to incoming freshmen for the 2002-2003 academic year.
Presidential and academic excellence scholarships are based on performance in academic or core high school subjects and American College Test or Scholastic Aptitude Test scores.
Students from Madison to receive Presidential and Academic scholarships are: Geoffrey Babb, Aaron Petersen, Matthew Anderson, Christopher Blackwell, Neil Borucki, Andrew Charlton, Cassandra Crouch, Sunitha Devineni, Caroline Ellson, Jennifer Fletcher, Lauren Hayes, Timothy Henstock, Erin Hubbard, Brett Hudson, Joshua Knight, Jessica Larson, Megan Lewis, Asean Lingenfelter, Marc Mahanna, Cassandra Moore, Phillip Olive, Patrick Price, Gwendolyn Redick, Sarah Rencher, Kristen Robertson, Christy Rodgers, Sarah Tierney, Lannie Towe, Mark Ullmon, Allen Wampler, Phillip Zink, Danielle Synder.
UAH Foundation recipients from Madison are: John Bland, Jason Merkel, David Yoder, Erika Lane, Sarah Rencher. Rencher received a one-time, $500 award, presented to high school valedictorians. She is a graduate of Westminster Christian Academy.
