Pastor seeks office of coroner
Dennis Green, pastor of Mt. Lebonon Primitive Baptist Church in Gurley and winner of the June Republican primary, is now gearing up for the November general election to become the coroner of Madison County.
Green has more than 19 years of experience in the funeral home industry and was employed by the Department of Forensic Science in Huntsville for five years. He is the director's assistant at the Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville and Reynolds Funeral Home in Decatur.
BellSouth directory makes changes
The final day for changing or adding a listing in BellSouth's upcoming Huntsville telephone directory is Friday, Oct. 4.
Huntsville area customers are asked to review their listing in the current directory and contact BellSouth's business office as soon as possible if any changes are necessary. Customers wanting designer listings should also call the business office now to make the change before deadline. Designer listings enable customers to design their listings to meet specific needs through the use of script, bold type or an extra line featuring descriptive words.
Residential customers should call 557-6500 and business customers should call 1-800-877-0433 to discuss directory listings. A service charge is applicable for adding or changing a listing.
The new directories will be delivered to area homes and businesses beginning Dec. 7.
